About

Who?

Return True is a blog ran by self taught coder Paul Robinson (Veneficus Unus). A self confessed computer addict he is always looking for coding to do or code to fiddle with. Why? Because he can.

He also loves gadgets, music, Stargate, Mythbusters (Kari is HOT!), Photoshop & theoretical technology. What is theoretical technology you may ask? Technology that could theoretically exist but doesn’t yet.

Why?

He made this blog to share some of the coding knowledge that he has learned throughout his 6 years of self teaching. Starting at a young age helping his dad program the old Atari XL using BASIC he quickly advanced onto HTML during school. Then during his last few years at school he jumped into X/HTML & CSS and then he quickly realised the web was becoming dynamic so he started to learn the server side scripting language ASP. After using ASP for a little while he decided to try PHP and quickly grew to love it. It’s not that PHP was better, it just seemed to make more sense. Now 20 Paul runs 2 blogs (this one & Celeb ‘O Rama), helps maintain Natural Tys (which this blog is hosted on) and helped extend the WP E-Commerce plugin to have a password system for artist Lisa-Marie’s Art Shop & Portfolio.

What?

Paul hopes that Return True (a classic function return value) will become a tutorial blog for PHP, CSS, X/HTML & Javascript growing larger and larger as time goes on. If you have any suggestions for tutorial topics or you have a question try leaving a comment or use the contact page and he will get back to you ASAP.
