Anyone else have flash backs to 1990’s dance music after reading that title? No? Just me then!
Anyway, I apologise for the massive gap in any tutorials, posts well much of anything. I haven’t vanished as you can see I was just very very busy with some important stuff. Now I’m back though and can get back to tutorials. I am looking for ideas for tutorials so if anyone is doing a project or just needs some help drop me a comment and I might just make a post on it for you.
Anyway some badish news now. I promised you all an updated version of tiamot by the end of this month. Well I might have to put the whole thing on hold for a while I neaten it up and learn a bit more about MySQL. This involves buying a book or two to teach me more about MySQL and more about the PHP side of using MySQL. I am increadably short of money at the moment so it may take a few months to get the £40-£50/$80-$90 needed to buy the books. If you would like to help out with the costs of the books so I can start on the new version sooner that by all means. You can donate via Paypal to pablorobinson[at]gmail[dot]com or you can use the chipin widget in the sidebar which allows you to pay securely by Paypal.
No matter what happens I will get the books but if you can help out I will be able to get them sooner and bring you a new version of tiamot that much sooner too.
Until that happens though I am going to work on some other tutorials, what I don’t know yet but I’m thinking of some so watch this space.
Thanks for reading and sticking with me, back soon.

So I have noticed a lot of people seem to be using these plugins in Firefox to block advertisements, now I beg you to excuse me if I go off on one because this subject tends to rile me up.
I do agree to some extent with the blocking of adverts especially these annoying ‘This website is brought to you today by we-are-shit.com’ things. I mean not only does it sound like you’ve suddenly been transported to ‘Sesame Street’ but it annoys the crap out of you. Also them flaming floating JS/CSS box things that advertise german web hosting and pop-up’s, Firefox tends to block most of those though.
There is the other side though which I stand firmly upon. I provide all of the code on this site and my hard work I spend doing the code, which most people seem to forget about, for free. I get nothing, not a penny, zip, zilch, zero, the big goose egg. So because I have to pay for the expensive server some how I use adverts, mostly Google Adsense but I do use Chitika too. I also run Celeb ‘O Rama too, again I make nothing from the site itself only from advserts. Finally my sister runs her portfolio. Now that’s a different story, she is an artist and therefore gain’s money indirectly from her site and therefore doesn’t see the point in burdening her visitors with adverts. Still she gains money from visitors by advertising her products on her site which leads to sales else where.
I, personally, am someone who will click ads just to support someones website since it is a way of showing your appreation of peoples work without actually spending any money. However if you use one of these plugins you don’t see the ads.
Maybe I’m wrong, I’ve never used a one of those plugins, but still I think if we stopped using advertisement on the internet it would probably be about as bad as the Net Nutrality problems at the moment. Oh, and don’t even get me started on that subject, I’d have some choice words for them and they would probably all start with ‘bleeep’.
Anyway that’s my rant for today. I’m off back to do some more of the Natural Tys website, I’ll be back onto Tiamot shortly so don’t worry if you are waiting for an update. I’ve also had a request via the Google Code website to make the HTML validate, I never actually realised it didn’t but I’m gonna give it a shot for the next update.
Oh and feel free to Stumble, Digg this post it’ll be nice to see what reactions I get.
